With Kaspersky, you supply the online backup storage yourself by linking with Dropbox, so these advanced features aren’t available. Again, all these features of Kaspersky Internet Security are also present in Total Security. Note that basic security protection for macOS and Android devices is precisely the same in the two suites, but Total Security offers additional utilities for those two platforms, and for iOS. Clicking the More Tools button brings up a collection of five more tool categories. For most of the categories, some or all tools are locked away, only available if you upgrade to the commercial edition. This product isn’t modeled on the commercial Kaspersky Anti-Virus. Rather, it has the same bones as the high-end Kaspersky Security Cloud suite. Kaspersky’s software is available for Macs, PCs, Android, iOS, Windows Mobile, BlackBerry and Symbian. Kaspersky’s 2013 Endpoint Security for Windows product was the top-ranked enterprise antivirus software in a competitive test by Dennis Technology Labs, followed by Symantec Endpoint Protection. Kaspersky’s parental controls software was reviewed by PC Magazine.
As of 2016, the software has about 400 million users and has the largest market-share of cybersecurity software vendors in Europe. Kaspersky Lab ranks fourth in the global ranking of antivirus vendors by revenue. It was the first Russian company to be included into the rating of the world’s leading software companies, called the Software Top 100 (79th on the list, as of 6/29/2012). Kaspersky Lab is ranked 4th in Endpoint Security segment according to IDC data for 2010. According to Gartner, Kaspersky Lab is currently the third largest vendor of consumer IT security software worldwide and the fifth largest vendor of Enterprise Endpoint Protection.
Many security vendors offer simple antivirus protection for macOS. Kaspersky is among the few that give Mac users a security suite, albeit not one that’s as comprehensive as the Windows suite.

Is Kaspersky secure connection any good?
Verdict. Kaspersky Secure Connection provides fast US connection speeds and has a free tier, but that’s about all you can say for it. This is definitely not a privacy-oriented VPN and it’s no longer even cheap for UK users.
Kaspersky Internet Security is our top choice among the midrange packages. It has decent parental controls, a secure browser, anti-theft protection for laptops, webcam protection and a limited-use VPN client that kicks in when you connect to an open Wi-Fi network.
